Kaylea was born and raised in upstate New York and knew since the age of two that she wanted to be in the medical field. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2020 and Duke University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2024. She has experience as a Registered Nurse in psychiatry, addiction recovery, men’s wellness, urology, gastroenterology, primary care, and of course wound care! Kaylea was a wound care nurse in Salt Lake City for two years before transitioning to the outpatient wound care world as a Nurse Practitioner. She always says “once you start working in wound care, you never want to do anything else!” and finds great satisfaction in watching our patients progress. In her free time, Kaylea enjoys playing with her baby and two dogs, trying new restaurants with her husband, reading, and quilting.
